Pay Range: 7                                                                       
Reports to:  Fiscal Manager                    
Hours:  8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m Monday–Friday*
*Hours/Days will vary depending upon the needs of the department.

 

What do we want you to bring to the table?

We are looking for someone with accounting and budget management skills. Must have experience using Microsoft Excel and other business software applications. You must have strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

 

What do you need to have?

Associate’s degree in office administration, accounting or a related field and a minimum of three (3) years related experience including office administration and customer service or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
 

 

What you will be doing?

A typical day may include: advising management on budget development and preparation by conducting research and analysis to plan and project future expenditures; monitoring and auditing agency budgets, on a frequency basis, to ensure accuracy of transactions; preparing journal entries, as appropriate, to maintain accurate financial records; assisting with maintaining expenditure control and accuracy by monitoring and preparing monthly financial reports for management; collecting data to prepare for election charge back models and any Ohio Secretary of State financial reports.  Also, will assist with preparing formal and informal bid specifications, purchase orders, contracts and print orders, if needed.
